![]() Our Window in the NY TimesNew Bohemia Signs Article
6 • 30 • 2011 | Press
As most of you saw, we had our windows hand painted by our local sign company, the story in San Francisco. While they were at our studio doing their artwork, they asked me if it would be okay if a photographer from the NY Times came by, and of course I said yes. It was a story about the sign company and art being integrated into business signage, and they ended up using the photo of our window for the story.
![]() I know some are probably thinking... wow. Well, I think it is exciting, and I'm still in awe of how these guys paint free hand, backwards, on windows. Incredible to watch!
Cheers, Kathryn

I always get excited to see a wedding of ours get published, and last week I had my other client Kathryn get featured on Style Me Pretty and yes, this is a different Kathryn married a week prior to the other Kathryn last year, and not me, Kathryn. Since we have that all settled, this was such a beautiful wedding, and I'm so happy to see it featured in such a perfect way in The Knot Northern California.
Kathryn and Mark were super laid back, and Kathryn really wasn't interested in a big "to-do" wedding. I had the venue in mind for them from the day I met them, and when they saw The Tavern at Lark Creek, they felt the same. It was the backdrop they wanted; woodsy and natural with delicious food. Their love for travel was portrayed throughout the wedding, and guests really felt the personal touch. ![]() Photos by Adi Nevo

Our dear friend, Kathy Goodman of Well Rehearsed, is hosting a lunch and learning session at the Hotel Los Gatos on July 10th. This will give couples the insight they need to start thinking about the importance of their rehearsal dinners, and how to make it really become a part of the wedding weekend. The best part is the event is free, so make sure to RSVP today before space fills up!
![]() Kathy is an amazing resource for events surrounding your wedding, and we even have hired her to plan our rehearsal dinner, as I know she will make it so special so I can be with my friends and family.
Cheers, Kathryn

I got a little surprise while opening my email yesterday when I received an email from Style Me Pretty (our favorite!), letting us know that one of our weddings from last fall was being featured! This was such a pretty wedding, and Kathryn in her Vera Wang dress was absolutely a vision.
Enjoy this wedding that was at the Flood Mansion here in San Francisco, with photos from Matthew May Photography! ![]() Cheers and have an absolutely fabulous weekend!

Katie and John were really fun to work with for two main reasons; one was because they are dear friends of ours, and two, because Katie new exactly what she wanted, and knew she had only six months to do it in. With the date quickly set, and the color palette of all shades of metallics in place, the planning frenzy began. We decided on the new downtown San Francisco venue of One Leidesdorff. This is an old bank, and the bar is actually the old teller windows. It has a lot of charm, and with the right colors and lighting can be a magical place where you can party into the wee hours of the night (sometimes hard to come by in the Bay Area). Another added perk, you can rent out the alley next to the building, which we did, and held the cocktail reception there with a full micro brew bar.
They then found their photography match with Joel Flory of Flory Photo, and were so excited to have them cover their wedding day. It was a very long day, with a very large wedding party and 322 guests, but Brittani ran the day perfectly so that I could be a guest at their wonderful celebration. This was also the day that snow was in the forecast for downtown San Francisco. It didn't end up snowing, except for a few flurries the night before, but it was definitely chilly, so our tents and cozy indoor reception were a welcome sight to the guests. We are so happy to share these images with you, and we'll start with her lovely coat handed down from her grandmother that looked so divine on her! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They popped into the Philly Club with the entire wedding party!
