We are often asked this question, and with the amount of different variations one can have with just their guest list, it is best to always know the rules. The list provided here on
Real Simple Weddings covers it all, with examples for each.
This is something you want to have completed on your list that you are providing your calligrapher or printer, as they will not be able to determine all these different scenarios without knowing the guests.
I decided to enter the Minted.com birth announcement inspiration board challenge since I was recently scrolling through their site looking for our possible birth announcements for our little guy (due any day now). They have so many adorable ones, it was hard to decide which one to pick! Here is the board I am entering in the contest:

I absolutely loved working with Serena & Dan. The whole planning process was filled with so much excitement that when the morning of their wedding arrived, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning! Serena had many wonderful ideas for their big day and I was more than happy to help make their vision come to life. Pewter and marigold were the colors of their festive wedding, and everything from the bride's adorable shoes to the groom and groomsmen bow ties matched the marigold hue to perfection.
The couple married on a magnificent fall San Francisco day at Calvary Presbyterian Church, followed by a joyful reception at The University Club. Delicious food, great dancing and celebratory cigars filled the evening. Gorgeous floral creations were designed by Melissa at
A Simple Ceremony. Serena had asked for a unique bouquet and she received just that! Enjoy these superb photos from
Loic Nicholas!
We are happy to share this lovely little intimate wedding that took place at Hotel Vitale last fall. The bride wanted a simple Parisian theme, and the backdrop of the views from the hotel just enhanced how adorable they were! Today, it was featured on
Style Me Pretty California, so you can see a lot of images there on how this simple wedding all came together with photos by
