or the past three holidays including this year, we have purchased our holiday cards through Minted.com. I have never been disappointed with any part of their service, and we always get comments on how great our holiday cards are. The past two years we have used their Storyboard cards, which are a great way to share a few moments from your year with family and friends.
I wanted to share the following link
so you can get some discounts if you order by January 2nd by using code SLED15 (they have great Happy New Year Cards)!
Available at Nordstrom
e are loving these twobirds bridesmaid dresses
available at Nordstrom! They are the most practical way to please everyone in your wedding party, and they look amazing. Each bridesmaid can decide the look that she wants, and they have instructions on how to achieve each look.
I have had a few brides chose these as their bridesmaids gowns, and they photograph so beautifully. Just another option to think about!
s we all head off into the weekend, I wanted to share a little exciting news! We were invited to be a part of Junebug Weddings elite group of Best Wedding Planners
, and we are so thrilled to be included on their short list with some of my dear (& talented) friends in the industry.
This weekend I will be celebrating my Mother's birthday, a pre-Thanksgiving feast with some close friends, and doing some wedding work, as it is almost time for the dreaded seating chart. Any advice will be appreciated. Should be a really fun time, I must make sure to have enough wine on hand!
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Engagement Photos | September 19
es, it feels very strange posting my own engagement photos, but now that they were on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book Blog on Friday, I feel that I can share them! I don't have them all yet, and will try and do a full feature before the wedding, but here is a snippet of them below, plus head over the Little Black Book Blog
and check them out.
We took these near the end of September on a very rare warm day in the city. We chose the outside of AT&T Park, since we met there, and were engaged there last December on home plate. Kate did a great job of capturing things that meant something to us, like the plaque of Joe's father's name outside the park, or the way Joe laughs at me.
Yes, we felt like big nerds, but I HIGHLY recommend that every couple do this before their wedding to get the camera jitters out before the big day. Enjoy!
