an article from Real Simple
One of the most frequent questions I get asked is how to address the wedding invitations. While many hand a list over to a calligrapher or printer, you still need to have the list formatted correctly, and this guide from Real Simple Magazine is a perfect tool to help you with that process.

Hope this helps you get started in the right direction with your invite lists!

7x7 Article
We loved this comprehensive list of all the best private dining rooms in San Francisco in 7x7 last week, and thought it was worth sharing. If you are looking for a restaurant dining experience for either a rehearsal dinner, or even a wedding (we do many restaurant weddings), this is a great list to give you a ton of options as well as seating capacities.

at the Julia Morgan Ballroom
Before we head out for the weekend, we wanted to share a photo from the wedding we designed last weekend at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. In order to create the Supper Club style of the reception, the ballroom had to be setup at 7am, so in no way would it be able to be flipped after a ceremony at 4pm. So, we had the ceremony in the beautiful marble lobby at the Merchant's Exchange Building (where the Julia Morgan is on the 15th Floor).
Have a wonderful weekend!
Cheers,
Kathryn
from The Wedding Chicks
Some of our clients ask us for ways to do some of their printable items on their own. It isn't always an easy task, and most often, you really need a professional involved. But, when it is a small job, or you are print savvy, you may want to try your hand at some of these free printables and downloads from The Wedding Chicks.
Like this thumbprint guest book is a great thing you could do on your own, and also a great keepsake from your wedding!
You can check out this and their other items for free on their site.
Happy Friday! We are hoping for a sun filled weekend for our clients getting married tomorrow at the Flood Mansion.
Cheers,
Kathryn
