I am beyond excited to share this wedding, aka Lovefest 2010 (as titled by the bride & groom), with you all. If the title doesn't give you a glimpse into what this wedding entailed, then I hope the photos will! It was a definite representation of both Leora and Adam, their love for each other, travel, burning man, music, food and color. There was so much beauty in this wedding from the unique glass vases, candle holders and other little knick-knacks, all mostly found on Ebay, to the amount of jewel toned colors everywhere.
I spent four days setting up this wedding, as Mayacamas Ranch is a large open space, but we were putting up a large clear top tent, elevated sisal covered flooring, hanging floral installations and executive restrooms. It was clearly a labor of love by all the vendors involved, and we were so happy with how it came out.
The guests had three days of activities to partake in, and it started with a Friday evening dinner at Clos Pegase. Guests were then met with a welcome bar with their two custom cocktails when they arrived for the ceremony, and were then in the rose garden for cocktails and a vintage photo booth. Then, dinner began in the tent as the sun was setting, as guests enjoyed a three course meal. There was then a live band, a library for guests to relax in and a full on dessert buffet. We wound that down at 10pm, and moved the guests into the lodge for the after party complete with a pudding bar, a photo booth and a silent disco. Yes, this is where the guests wear wireless headphones and can dance until 4am, which they did! Their day after brunch the following morning in the rose garden was complete with a custom crepe making station showed the guests how this couple really took time to think about every single detail.
