While we are not currently hiring, we offer a few options for aspiring wedding and event designers and planners to get a feel for the industry. Here is what we are offering:
1) Be added to our wait list for our Spring 2016 internship by Emailing us here with your resume and your availability between Feb-May.
2) Be added to our assistant wait list. Our assistants sign up for the weddings they are able to work, and most have been with me for many years, as they only work weekends or evenings on specific events. Please Email us your resume, and we will let you know when a spot opens up.
3) Participate in our Mentor Program. This program is offered to qualified participants on a first come first serve basis and is $1000. We only can take five per year as the program includes a day in the office with me along with a lunch to discuss your plans and goals for your own career and how to best obtain that. We then have the mentee shadow at the rehearsal to see all the behind the scenes action from the night before through the wedding day. On the wedding day, the mentee would shadow for the majority of the day, and be able to ask questions along the way, as well as participate in the wedding setup. This is a really fun program, and the majority of our past mentee's have ended up working for me in some capacity, or have gone on to work in the industry. After the program, we review your resume, offer advice and send referrals to job openings as they become available. Email us if you are interested, as we only have two more openings for 2016.
