I met Jessica and Brandon over the phone the first time, since they lived in Canada, and weren't going to be in the area for a few months. They were wanting to book their venue and planner before coming for their first planning visit, so they had to go off their gut instincts, and luckily decided to hire me to be their planner. After that, I helped them confirm their venue as the Legion of Honor (which they had never seen in person before). On their first visit, I knew we would have a blast, as the bride's entire family came down for the visit, and we went to food tastings, did a site visit, and came up with the initial concept for the wedding: clean. Jessica and Brandon are a very modern couple, and everything about them was simple, understated, yet elegant. That is exactly how they wanted their wedding, and that is exactly how it turned out.
Their first look photos were at the historic Fairmont San Francisco on Nob Hill, and then they went to the Embarcadero to get more pre-wedding photos from the very sweet Darcy Padilla. Their ceremony was beautiful in the middle of the Court of Honor before cocktails, dinner and dancing inside the museums Rodin Galleries (moving from one gallery to the next for each new part of the wedding). Most of the guests were from Canada, and enjoyed the couple taking the time to entertain them on the nights leading up to the wedding with a trip to the San Francisco Giants game and dinner at local favorites like A16.
I truly enjoyed working with Jess & Brandon, and their families, and hope you enjoy their lovely photos!
